Rachel Bowes, one of Ann's grand-daughters, went to Gretna to marry a Scotsman named Andrew Sweeney at the Mill Forge at 5:30 p.m..
Ann and I decided to stay overnight at the Gretna Hall Hotel rather than to drive home so late at night.
